BLOOD RED THRONE: Footage From INFERNO Festival Available

Fan-filmed video footage of Norwegian death metal tyrants BLOOD RED THRONE performing the song "Deranged Assassin" at the Inferno festival on April 8, 2009 can be viewed below.

Commented BLOOD RED THRONE guitarist Død: "First day of Inferno and we just had to set the standard. It was seven years since the last time we played here and we were ready to unleash hell. Besides a crappy soundcheck and also not expecting too many people, we were met by an almost overcrowded venue screaming for BLOOD RED THRONE. This was such an inspiration and we hit it off from the very beginning. The playing was great, the sound was great and the audience made mosh pits, stagedived and shouted for more. The feedback was totally overwhelming during and after the show and we had a great time indeed!"

BLOOD RED THRONE recently posted a new song, "The Light, The Hate", on the band's MySpace page. The song comes off the group's fifth album, "Souls Of Damnation", which is scheduled for release on June 1 in Europe and June 30 in the U.S. via Earache Records. The limited-edition first pressing of the CD, which will coincide with the band's 10th anniversary, will include two bonus tracks, plus a special DVD featuring an exclusive new interview with the band, along with an in-depth studio diary documenting the album's recording process.

Guitarist Død comments on the track: "'The Light, The Hate' was one of the first songs I wrote for the new album. It has it all. Fast parts, groovy parts and a nice lead. This will definitely be in our live set!"
